At Edwards Family Daycare, our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing home environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. We are dedicated to supporting each child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through creative play, educational activities, and positive guidance. Our goal is to build a strong foundation that encourages curiosity, confidence, and kindness—helping every child feel valued, respected, and prepared for future success.
MEET THE OWNERS
MICHELE EDWARDS
Hello, my name is Michele Edwards, I am the owner here at Edwards Family Daycare. I have over 30 years of experience working with children. I have completed courses in child development. I am also a certified Medical Assistant. When I am not working with children, I am volunteering at my church or in my community. My compassion is missions, helping others.
HAYLEE EDWARDS
Hello, my name is Haylee Edwards, I am Co-Owner here at Edwards Family Daycare. I have 8 years of experience working with children. Once I graduated from High School, I continued my education, completing courses in Child Development. When I am not working with children I am working with G.L.O.W, a support group for young adults that I co-founded.

ALIYAH EDWARDS
Aliyah is a dedicated and caring individual who supports her mom with the daycare, where she enjoys supporting and nurturing young children. She is currently studying to become an English and AVID teacher, driven by her passion for education and helping others succeed. Outside of school, Aliyah is active in her church community and is known for her kindness, helpfulness, and positive attitude.

Welcome to Edwards Family Daycare, a loving and nurturing in-home childcare program located in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA. We offer a safe, fun, and educational environment where children can learn, play, and grow at their own pace.
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL ENRICHMENT

We encourage creativity through art, music,
storytelling, and dramatic play. Children
explore colors, sounds, and imagination daily

Painting, art, singing, dancing, puppet
shows, and pretend play.
Early Learning & Literacy
We promote a love of learning with age appropriate activities that develop early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills through play and exploration.

Storytime, letter and number games, matching and sorting, and interactive group reading.
Outdoor Play & Nature Exploration
Outdoor time is a big part of our day. We explore nature, build gross motor skills, and learn about the world around us through active play and discovery.
Activities might include:
Gardening, nature walks, playground time.
Social & Emotional Growth
We help children build friendships, empathy, and independence. Through guided play and positive routines, children learn to express themselves and care for others.
Activities might include:
Circle time discussions, cooperative games
Healthy Bodies & Nutrition
We promote healthy habits with nutritious meals, active play, and discussions about selfcare and wellness.
Activities might include:
Cooking projects, tasting new foods, and movement games.
